You remain responsible for ensuring your use of buyer data complies with applicable data protection laws.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (provided at registration)
  • Profile information: business details, preferences, and settings
  • Marketplace data: orders, buyer details, messages, cases, feedback, payouts, and listings — obtained through eBay API under your authorization
  • Usage data: pages you visit on the platform (for analytics)
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services (order management, inventory tracking, analytics)
  • Synchronize data from connected marketplaces
  • Improve and personalize your experience
  • Communicate with you about updates and features
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • DigitalOcean — Cloud hosting and data storage
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and DNS
  • eBay API — Marketplace data synchronization (orders, messages, etc.)
  • Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) — Geocoding buyer addresses for the Buyers Map
  • Google reCAPTCHA — Bot protection during registration

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. Optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only loaded with your explicit consent via our cookie consent banner.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights (GDPR Articles 15-20)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data — view it in your account or download via the data export feature
  • Correct inaccurate data — update your profile at any time
  • Request deletion of your data — permanently delete your account from Account Settings
  • Data portability — download all your data as JSON from Account Settings
  • Object to data processing — contact us to exercise this right
  • Withdraw consent — revoke marketplace connections or delete your account at any time

8. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed.
  • Buyer personal data (name, address, etc.) is automatically anonymized after 3 years.
  • Messages are retained for up to 3 years, then deleted.
  • Analytics (page visit) data is retained for up to 1 year.
  • API logs are retained for up to 90 days.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place for any such transfers.
